someone doubts my commitment to sparkle motion

No seriously, I didn’t know!!! APPARENTLY, my favorite game in the entire world came out with a sequel, and I didn’t know! My good buddy Steve informed me that Soul Calibur III came out, and you guessed it, I didn’t know. Now, the trouble begins… do I run out and buy it, only to sit mindlessly in front of the PS2 for the next couple of weeks, or do I wait?? But how could I, I gotta go get it! And Steve, get ready to be schooled biatch… I see that Talim is still a character choice. BOO-RAA!!!

UPDATE: Did I suggest waiting? HA! I practically knocked my computer over when I jumped up to go to Best Buy to get this game… and it is um, how should I say it? Awesome. It completely rocks the face off SCII. If you like SCII, buy this bitch. It is sweet!

And that concludes my acting like a complete nerd.

why is Tyra Banks so utterly and completely fierce?

Cos I'm Tyra Banks, that's why!Because the bitch can bring it. Tonight on America’s Next Top Model, she totally stunned the hell out of those girls when it came down to do the elimination. Tonight, Jayla (bitch!), and Nicole were in the bottom two, and in my opinion, deserved to be there long before tonight. Tyra looked them both in the eye and told them how much they sucked, before announcing that they both would have to pack their bags tonight. WHAT?? Two girls going home in one night? They sucked that bad (well, Jayla did, but that is besides the point)?? Then, after they start boo hooing, and the other girls are having a freak out, Tyra pulled a “nah, I’m just fucking with you”, and announced that they all had to pack their bags… for London. I can’t believe she even kept a straight face through that whole thing. It was fierce as hell! If I would have been Jayla or Nicole, it would have taken every ounce of my strength to restrain myself from hitting that bitch.

Does this mean that I am mad at Tyra for pulling that stunt? Hell no! But I do have to say this: Tyra, honey, I know you have your own talk show now, and that while you are fierce beyond belief, we must remember one thing; you ain’t Oprah. Nope. Not today, not next week, not eva! We all heard you yelling, “You get to go, and you get to go, and you get to go!” I know, you were excited to be handing out free cars, I mean, free trips to London… so, I guess it’s okay. But in the end, I guess I should post this as a warning to both Tyra and Oprah: Tyra, calm it down, your tits are real, and don’t have to be Oprah; and Oprah, that skinny bitch is on your heels, watch out!

I see you shiver with antici…….. pation.

I thought that it would be fun, since I wrote such a long review of Jarhead, to look at other movies that I really want to see this movie season. Also, it would be nice to see what other people think about these upcoming shows. Here it goes:

Obviously, these are the ones that I MUST see:

Brokeback Mountain — I will RUN to the theatre to see this. Unfortunately, I have a insatiable curiosity, and, I happen to know how it ends. I don’t care. I am going with tissue in hand. Here is hoping that I don’t do that wheezing cry. Just a simple quiet cry would be okay. Also, here is hoping that I can wipe up before the lights come on; or at least run to the car. Can’t wait. Antici…pation: 10/10

Rent — I don’t care what anyone else out there says about this movie. At least one person has been getting flack for his excitement, but I am right there with him. Rent is a great musical, and I truly believe, after seeing several trailers and a music video for “Å“(Let’s Go) Out Tonight”, that it is going to be phenomenal. I cannot wait for this amazing show to come to the silver screen. I will be right there with the rest of the Rent-heads, singing every song. Which reminds me, I need to be practicing, if I am going to learn La Vie Boheme as good as Josh! Antici…pation: 10/10

nothing, really; nothing but the music, baby.

I don’t really have anything special to post about today, but I have been doing some thinking, and I think that I want to try and start doing a little “song of the day”-type feature on the blog. At the bottom of every entry (at least when I remember), I am going to put a little song of the day, or the moment or something. I may post more than one song title, cause I am very indecisive… no I am not; wait, yep, I am.

It will probably be a good way to decipher what my mood is that day, and will be another way for me to express one of my very favorite things: music. I love me some music! If anyone ever has any suggestions for me, feel free to let me know! I have a cd review page and a music hits page where I post the stuff that I am listening to, so check them out as well. And, I am going to go on the record here and say that you will never see a Gwen Stefani or Black Eyed Peas song on here, basically because I not only hate them cause the suck, I hate them on principle now. That’s right. I hate them on fucking principle. Eat that.

Listen2this: Madonna – Hung Up
(you can actually head over to PopMuse’s site and check it out…)
Late Entry: Smashing Pumpkins – Hummer (take me away, from here…)

lost on LOST, and my newest TV obsession…

Okay, I must admit, there were several times last year, when I was watching Lost, and thought, “this show is really weird, but is it good?”. Before this season had started, I gave back into the JJ Abrams quotient (you DO know that Alias is my fav, and Felicity is one of the best shows ever, right?), and settled in for a weird, but good season. But last night, that feeling was back: this show is weird, but is it any good?
To go in the scary hatch, or not?
Case and point: whether or not to push that button. I honestly must say that my response is a resounding, I DON’T CARE!!!!!

we are being “invaded”, and it is actually quite nice…

I honestly don’t know how I feel about the show Invasion yet, but I am sure of one thing:
Hottie, um, yes please!
this. man. is. HOT. Invasion comes on right after Lost, and, is well, kind of an alien show, as the name implies; but, in the true form of an alien show, I cannot really figure out what is going on. I know that is kind of the way the show is supposed to be, because if they gave it all away in the beginning, then no one would watch; which I understand, but I am just saying. Either way, whatever is going on, it is definitely worth watching just for Eddie; but the show is actually kind of interesting as well.

the show to watch this fall

Now, of course I mean, the show, OTHER THAN ALIAS, that you must watch this season. In case you are currently, for some reason, not watching Kitchen Confidential; then stop being an idiot, and watch. This show is full of hot actors, great dialogue, and smooth exchanges. It is from the producer of Sex in the City; and one of his last shows, Miss Match, was also a personal favorite (let’s hope this show doesn’t go the way of Miss Match). If you liked either of those shows, chances are, you will love this one. Now, tune in Mondays at 8:30 on Fox. You will be glad you did.

PS: In case that didn’t convince you; Bradley Cooper and Owain Yeoman are HOT!

oh yeah! Brokeback Mtn wins top award!!!

Turns out, Ang Lee’s Brokeback Mountain, the movie I was plugging here, won the top honor, the Golden Lion award, at the Venice Film Festival. Looks like this movie may be even better than I could have possibly hoped! Hopefully it will do well here in “Jesusland”; I know that I will do my part to make sure that it does. Can’t wait for December!
I wonder what part in the movie they are talking about, in this photo:

indigo girls… let me walk you through it

Last night, we saw the Indigo Girls at Chastain, and it was awesome. They deliver like no other band, seriously. It is like popping in one of their CD’s, and just sitting around listening to it with 100’s of other people. It was great.

As expected, there were tons of other gays and lesbians around, so the atmosphere was so welcoming, that it was practically palpable in the air. The cute lesbians next to us (Ashley and Victoria) were fun to be next to; it was obvious from the beginning that they were there to have a great time.

an indigo weekend

Nothing much to say about the upcoming weekend, other than James and I are going to see the Indigo Girls at Chastain tomorrow night. I will try to post some stuff about it sometime next week. I can’t wait!

“I’m trying to tell you something bout my life, maybe give me insight between black and white, and the best thing you ever done for me, is to help me take my life less seriously, it’s only life after all, yeah!”

WOO HOO!!!!
