for some reason, the site has been up and down all day… hopefully that shit will stop soon. Keep checking back (if you can read this!)!

It has come to my attention that some people may have a little problem with my screening comments on this site. I wanted to take this time to address the issue (with those whom it exists), and ask for suggestions on how to make things more appropriate and satisfying to those that want to comment.

First of all, the reason. The reason that I decided to use the Movable Type function of screening comments, is simply the fact that it is not only really annoying, but is extremely time consuming to continually check for, monitor, and erase spam that appears in the comments of your blog.

I am never satisfied, but I thought I would ask before moving forward. Should I keep the menu on the left (see fun flash that I made for navigating my rich, full website), or tank it, and just integrate the links somewhere on this blog? Suggestions? Also, if anyone can show me how to place “recent comments” on the right sidebar, I would be much obliged.

Well, I am still switching my old entries into this blog, and let’s say it is taking a good bit of forever. My pointer finger, you know the one I click with, is totally numb. That cannot be a good sign. But, At least I have gotten through April, cause there were more entries in April, May, and June, than probably the whole past year (which just means I need to post more). But I cannot wait till this blog is fully up and running!!!

I will post something fun soon. I promise.

I am posting this even before I link this page from my site, but I have decided that I want to try Movable Type. After a BITCH of a time trying to upload it, and after asking myself SEVERAL times, whether it is worth it… I actually really like the simplicity of the design, and I may even tweak it a bit more. All in all, I would be even happier if I could get this damn thing to upload all of my previous posts, of which I have been trying to import for the better part of a day. If anyone has any suggestions… LET ME KNOW. Thanks. Also, let me know if you like this new format better, since I did go through all of this trouble…

Well, now that I have fiddled with my blog php settings for like the last hour (man I wish I knew php like I know html… but I digress), I am actually pleased with the results. The point is to make it flow more with my site, and make it less of a “outside” thing. This way, maybe I will stop separating my site from my blog, and treat them as one. And who knows… maybe I will write more. I guess the main reason I don’t write more is because I don’t want to bore people, but I guess if you are bored enough to be reading blogs, then what is the harm right?

Sidenote of the day: Do you have people in your life, whether at work or wherever, that you encounter at least once every day or so that just piss you off for no reason whatsoever? There is this old guy; and I refer to him as old guy; who I see very often who just makes me mad. I feel heat in my face when I see him, and I want to slap him around or something. Maybe that would make me feel better. I don’t know why I feel this way, I have never even talked to him or anything. He just looks at me weird, like he is judging me, and then hangs around forever. He is also really slow, and that really pisses me off. Maybe I need one of those little rubber things you can squeeze when you are upset, but I would probably break it after seeing him. Oh well. But honestly they weirdest part of this, to me, is that I don’t even know why I feel this way!!! I have no reason to. He has never done anything to me, other than annoy the piss out of me. But ah, isn’t that enough?

I just attempted to learn movable type… thinking it would be easy and fun. Wrong. So, I am definitely putting that on hold for now, and will continue to use this version of the blog. Here’s hoping that I actually go back to it… see earlier post… HA!
