near and dear

welcome to my 200th entry!

First let me start by stating how wonderfully beautiful the weather is today… I just want to ride around with the windows down, and the sunroof back and enjoy… and I will get to in a couple of hours!

Next, I want to say thanks to everyone that offered their prospective on yesterday’s post. I still don’t know how I feel, but regardless of how I feel, I do think that it offers my mom a chance to learn more about me, if she wants to. I doubt that she will regularly read it anyway, and whenever I have a Jake-heavy day, I am sure she will not find it interesting and just tune out. Either way, as for now, I don’t really do too much “Å“risqu锝 stuff anyway, so let’s just keep this train rolling.

is it just me?

mama, can you hear me?

So, I don’t obsess about it, by any means, but I do use sitemeter (ingenious tool, by the way), to occasionally check and see where people are visiting my site from. I think it is pretty cool that you can see that people visit from San Francisco, or from Denver, or from Singapore; where ever… I just think it is pretty cool. But, I found out something interesting recently, someone had been visiting me from my home town, of Raleigh, NC; coincidentally where my parents live.

Now, I convinced myself it probably wasn’t them, and dropped it. But, now, I know it was! My mom emailed me today (if you are reading this, HI MOM!; and insert “you” wherever there is a “she” as you continue to read) to my duanemoody.com account; the address which she got from my website. Now, this isn’t really a problem, in fact before this was the blog you see standing before you, I gave everyone in my family the address, so they could check out the photos, etc., and was excited if they even acknowledged it. Even though I knew there was a possibility of it, I never thought they would actually be using it (except for Wendy… wassup!). But now, it has kind of hit me that my mom is probably reading everything that I write.

11) Because she has a cool nickname; LiLo. (watch out JLo.)
10) Because she can sing quite well. (I have her CD, and I like most of it.)
9) Because she is loaded. (like, totally rich, ya’ll)
8) Because she was in Mean Girls.
7) Because she can really act. (if you don’t like her, tough, it is still true.)
6) Because she has great hair. (at least when it is red).
5) Because she gets to go out on the town and just be a superstar every day. (I want to be a superstar, specifically a superstar teen queen in a feud with Hilary Duff.)
4) Because she has a hot body and big boobs. (I don’t have boobs, so it might be fun, right? And everyone wants a hot body.)
3) Because she was in Mean Girls. (oh yeah, that’s right, I love Mean Girls)
2) Because she has a black Mercedes. (well, had a black Mercedes)
and the number one reason…
1) Because she is awesome.

And those are the top eleven reasons I want to be Lindsay Lohan. I don’t care if you like her or not, this isn’t the top eleven reasons you want to be Lindsay Lohan, it is the top eleven reasons I want to be Lindsay Lohan. I think that this may have something to do with my watching Herbie: Fully Loaded last night. But whatever; LiLo Rocks!
